User tags and ticket access control

v1.1Release Notes

User tags and ticket access control

The headline of the 1.1 series: group users with tags and use those tags to control access.

Assign tags to users

Portal administrators manage the tag catalog; company administrators can assign an agreed subset of tags to their own users.

Tags control ticket forms

For every ticket form, the rights to see, create and edit can be granted separately per tag. For example, everyone sees network tickets, but only facility staff can open access requests.

More about the Ticketing module

Filter by tag

All three user lists, that is the portal-wide list, the per-company list and the company administration view, gained a multi-select tag filter, and tags are shown directly in the list.

Improvements

Manage your own API tokens

Manage your API tokens in every organization you belong to. Token management now works correctly for each of your memberships.

Faster user lists

User lists load noticeably faster for administrators, especially on large installations.

Clearer work visit dashboard

The pending list now shows exactly what needs your attention, and admin links to work visits open the right page again.

Fixes

Ticket notifications

Ticket creators reliably receive email notifications for replies again, and CC recipients are no longer dropped when a ticket is verified.

Registration

Duplicate account registrations are now prevented.

Invitation links

Invitation links behave correctly in edge cases.
